Terry Day’s career spanned 42 years as a Canadian Forces fighter pilot and staff officer, an instructor pilot with Bombardier Aerospace, and a flight operations safety inspector with Transport Canada. In 2017, Terry was diagnosed and treated for prostate cancer, which remains in remission to date. He became involved with Prostate Cancer Support Ottawa in 2018, with a special interest in helping newly diagnosed men and their supporters through the challenging initial parts of their cancer journeys. Terry is a member of the PCSO Board of Directors, leads the PCSO Peer Support Team and manages the PCSO website. He also enjoys opportunities to educate people about the latest developments in prostate cancer diagnosis and treatment.
