As retirees we want to remain active and curious about the world. Now that we have the time, we can explore and reflect on our lives.
Anne Coulter, who serves on the board of the British Isles Family History Society of Greater Ottawa (BIFHSGO) will lead a session on how delving into your family roots can be an engaging and rewarding retirement activity. You will see how you can develop new skills and develop a deeper understanding of history and an appreciation for your ancestors. The talk will also cover the benefits of joining a family history organization for inspiration and support.
The content will be presented in English, however bilingual participation is encouraged. La présentation se fera en anglais, mais la participation dans les deux langues officielles est encouragée.
