This session will provide an overview of some of the most common scams reported to police, including the Grandparent Scam, Phishing Scams, Romance Scams, and Investment Scams. Attendees will learn how these scams operate, the warning signs to watch for, and the tactics fraudsters use to manipulate victims into sending money or sharing personal information.

The presentation will also offer practical tips to help protect yourself, your family, and your finances from becoming a target. Through real-life examples and current trends, you will gain a better understanding of how to recognize suspicious activity, verify requests for money or information, and report fraud when it occurs. Whether you are looking to safeguard yourself or help protect a loved one, this presentation will provide valuable information to help prevent victimization.
